McKee Dental has been caring for our community since it was founded in 2003 by Dr. Woodman and Dr. Maltz, built on the belief that great dentistry should feel welcoming, personal, and never intimidating. As the practice has grown, that same philosophy continues today through the compassionate care of Dr. Alegria, Dr. Wang, and Dr. Miller—a team known for clinical excellence and a genuine commitment to patient comfort. We’re also proud to share that Dr. Miller is a military veteran, and McKee Dental is an official veteran service site, honored to provide accessible, respectful dental care to those who have served our country. Beyond the office, our team actively supports the community through local fundraisers and outreach initiatives that give back to the families who call this area home. From preventive and family dentistry to cosmetic services like veneers and comfort-focused options such as sedation dentistry, McKee Dental blends modern care with a friendly, down-to-earth approach—so every visit feels like you’re in trusted, familiar hands.

Dr. Christian Alegria, DMD
Dr. Christian Alegria completed his undergraduate work at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH before attending The Medical University of South Carolina to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Alegria’s primary goal in practice is to make dentistry easy to understand and provide comfortable, quality treatment. Dr. Alegria enjoys the artistry of dentistry and caring for patients of all ages. Outside of the office, you can find Dr. A traveling, finding a good spot to read a book, or watching Xavier basketball.

Dr. Matthew M. Miller, DDS
Dr. Matthew M. Miller graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2007 and was commissioned as an Officer in the United States Navy, where he holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander. During his naval career, he completed a General Practice Residency and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Exodontia Fellowship.
Dr. Miller held key leadership roles, serving as both dental and intern medical department head on a US Naval warship. He is certified in moderate conscious IV sedation and has completed extensive continuing education in oral surgery and advanced implant dentistry. His professional experience includes practice at numerous Naval and Marine Corps hospitals, clinics, and ships, in addition to many years in the civilian sector.
Dr. Miller enjoys providing dental and oral surgical care to patients of all ages and is dedicated to making them feel at ease. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his wife and two children.

Dr. Sandy Wang, DDS
Dr. Wang, originally from Los Angeles, California, recently made Charlotte, North Carolina her new home as of August 2023. Her educational journey includes earning a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan, followed by a year-long General Practice Residency at the University of Southern California. Rooted in a background where access to dental care was limited, Dr. Wang’s motivation lies in ensuring patients have access to personalized treatments and informed decisions. She’s particularly passionate about educating patients on preventive and at-home dental care, advocating that prevention is indeed better than cure, saving time and expenses associated with oral issues. Dr. Wang often advises patients on the transformative power of daily flossing—it’s a seemingly small habit that makes a significant, enduring impact on overall health.

Christine moved to the Matthews area in 2022 from Pittsburgh, PA. Although, new to the area she has been in Dental Hygiene for 23 years. A graduate from Westmoreland County Community College in 1999 she then completed her Bachelors of Science Degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Christine enjoys helping her patients and giving them a personal experience. Outside of work her hobbies include gardening, mountain biking and DIY projects.

Hi, my name is Denilson but everyone calls me Denis. I went to Monroe High and graduated in 2016 and later attended Dental Assisting School in 2019 at Charlotte Dental Assisting School. I recently joined the McKee Dental team in 2021 full of excitement to help every patient gain more confidence in their smile.
In my free time you will find me spending time with my family, going hiking and watching football. GO Carolina Panthers!!

Mariana joined the McKee team in April of 2022. She is originally from Venezuela, where she graduated high school in 2015. In 2017, she came to America in search of the American dream. She attended dental assisting school in 2019 in Miami Florida. She enjoys helping our patients have a comfortable experience. In her free time she enjoys traveling, going shopping, baking, and practicing her make up skills at home.

This is Larisa – she has been in the dental field for over 15 years. She graduated from Blackstone Institute then followed with continuing education at Chapel Hill and CPCC. She prides herself with staying current in continuing dental education classes; a commitment in which she takes seriously to help patients maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate Larisa’s gentle and compassionate bedside manner and her fun-loving personality.
What she values most is spending quality time with her family and in her spare time, you will find that she loves to travel, dine out, and spend time outdoors making priceless memories.

Office Manager
Tracy has over 30 years of dental experience as both a dental assistant and an office manager. She joined our team in 2021 after she and her husband relocated to Charlotte from Chicago. Tracy loves working with the team and patients at McKee Dental. She enjoys being able to help patients achieve a healthy smile and overcome their dental fears. In her free time, Tracy and her husband love to travel, cheer on their beloved Chicago Cubs, and spend time with their dogs, Cubbie and Wrigley!’

Patient Care Coordinator
Hey y’all! I’m Monique but everyone calls me “Mo”. I’m from Greensboro, NC where I graduated from EduDent School of Dental Assisting as a Dental Assistant. I started at a pediatric office where I really enjoyed working with children, I love kids! My Husband and I visited Charlotte often for a couple of years (lots of things to do here) so we decided to make the move in 2022. I joined the Mckee Dental team in October of 2023 and ever since then I have really enjoyed myself. I love being one of the first people patients see to set the tone for a super positive experience, greeting them with a huge smile! In my free time I love spending time with my family, making floral arrangements and building my TikTok page.’

Christy is a proud wife and mom but recently stepped into her favorite role as CiCi to her first grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and chasing her German Shepherds AKA her babies. She is an avid Civil War buff and loves to comb battlefields and old cemeteries.

Hi, I’m Kim! I’ve been a dental hygienist for 23 years. I moved here from Foxboro MA in 2004 with my husband, Chris. We have 2 sons (Vincent and Sam) in college, both majoring in business management and a 16yr old beagle named Penny. My favorite thing about my job is educating patients on home care and the correlation between the health of our mouths and systemic body. When I am not at work, you will most likely find me either at the ballfield watching Sam pitch for Catawba College Baseball or in the front row of a venue rockin’ out to Vincent’s alternative rock band “6 Story Pyramid”! I also love the beach and being crafty when I’m not being a crazy fan!

Vesna has been a RDH since completion of her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Central Piedmont Community College in 2009. The most rewarding part of her career is helping people achieve better oral and general health, and to actually look forward to getting their teeth cleaned!
She enjoys getting to know her patients and their goals to tailor a customized regimen to help them on their journey to a healthier smile. When not at work, you’ll find her adventuring in the outdoors. Her curiosity runs the gamut, so you’ll find her reading when she’s not playing outdoors. She treasures the moments spent with family and friends.
